Profits of Jordan Vegetable Oil Industries jumped by 175.48% during the first half of 2014 to JOD 252.87 thousand compared with JOD 91.79 thousand in the first half of 2013.

Earnings per share rose to JOD 0.06 against JOD 0.02 in the first half last year.

The company’s sales profits rose by 17.8% to JOD 742.15 thousand in H1-14 from JOD 629.57 thousand in H1-13.

As for the second quarter, the company’s profits increased by 348.358% to JOD 156.8 thousand compared with JOD 34.97 thousand in the second quarter last year.
