Al Ekbal Printing and Packaging Co announced that its profits declined by 28% to JOD 230.8 thousand in the first half of 2014 compared with JOD 320.8 thousand in the same period of 2013.

Earnings per share plunged to JOD 0.046 in H1-14 against JOD 0.064 in H1-13.

Financial statement of the company clarified that sales declined by 4.27% to JOD 5.6 million this year compared with JOD 5.8 million in the first half last year.

The company’s profits plunged by 38.9% to JOD 90 thousand in the second quarter of 2014 from JOD 146.7 thousand in the second quarter of 2013.
