Euro Arab Insurance Group PLC said that its profits rose by 140% to JOD 548 thousand in the first half of 2014 against JOD 228.6 thousand in the first half of 2013.

Earnings per share hit JOD 0.068 in the first half against JOD 0.029 in the first six months of the last year.

Revenues of the company increased by 40% to JOD 7.2 million in the first half against JOD 5.15 million in the same period of the last year.

The group’s profits had jumped by 338% to JOD 457.5 thousand in the first quarter this year compared to JOD 94 thousand during the first quarter of 2013.
