An official source in Orange Jordan (one of Jordan Telecom companies) said that Orange which owns 51% of Jordan Telecom shares headed towards international arbitration on measures taken by Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) recently to renew 2G services license of Orange Jordan.

The source added that TRC has been officially notified of this measure by the end of last month. This notification forces TRC to attend the arbitration before an international committee in Washington after six months of receiving the notification.
