Profits of Northern Cement Co jumped by 543.58% to JOD 9.78 million in the first half of 2014 compared with JOD 1.52 million in the first half of 2013.

Earnings per share rose to JOD 0.178 in H1-14 against JOD 0.027 in H1-13.

The company’s financial statement stated that sales increased by 54.7% to JOD 38.5 million in the first half compared with JOD24.9 million in the same period last year.

In the first quarter, the company’s profits had increased by 561.98% to JOD 4.42 million compared with JOD 668.7 thousand in the first quarter of 2013.
