Further to the earlier disclosures by the company on the subject of merger / acquisition, United Finance Company SAOG (UFC) has received a written non-binding indicative offer to acquire 100% of the shares in UFC from Al Omaniya Financial Services SAOG today.  The matter is receiving Board’s attention and further announcement in this regard shall be made in due course, as appropriate.

Incidentally, National Bank of Oman SAOG has also officially communicated to UFC today that it will not be pursuing the acquisition proposal further.
