Cairo-Mubasher: El Ahram for Printing and Packing Co. said it is in the middle of negotiations to buy new production lines worth $2.5 million within the upcoming period.

The new lines aim to boost the company's production and profitability by 100% in the next two years, said the company in a bourse statement.

The company currently studies number of offers related to highly advanced printing and packaging machines, added the company.

The firm is capitalised at EGP 26 million, distributed across 5.2 million shares at EGP 5 par value each.
