Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt (TE) Chairman Mohamed Salem submitted his resignation on Saturday, after Yasser El Kadi was sworn in as minister of communications in place of Khaled Negm.

El Kadi was among 13 new ministers who took their oaths before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi today in a cabinet reshuffle.

Media reports said a number of key officials at the communications ministry submitted resignations after El Kadi’s appointment. However, the communications minister’s advisor Khaled Sherif denied the news.
