Mubasher: Oman Cement Company reported a 169.44% jump in profits to OMR 4.71 million ($12.2 million) in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to OMR 1.75 million ($4.53 million) in the same quarter of 2014, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

In the fiscal year 2015, profits declined 11% to OMR 11.7 million ($30.3 million) as compared to OMR 13.15 ($34 million) in the fiscal year 2014.

In its meeting on 21 February, the board recommended distributing 30% dividends or 30 baisa per share.

The annual general meeting is scheduled to be held on 20 March to discuss the board’s proposal.
