Mubasher: Oman Cement Company posted a 0.26% rise in its quarterly profits, according to a bourse statement.

Profits reached OMR 3.84 million ($9.94 million) in the first quarter of 2016, compared to OMR 3.83 million ($9.92 million) in the corresponding period of 2015.

Total sales stood at OMR 15.83 million ($41.11 million) in Q1-16, a growth of 7.8% from OMR 14.69 million ($38.15 million) in Q1-15.

Revenues increased by 6.6% to total OMR 16.7 million ($43.37 million) during the period, compared to OMR 15.66 million ($40.67 million).
