Mubasher: Port Services Corporation’s initial unaudited financial statements showed a rise of 92.96% year-on-year in the company’s profits for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016.
Net profit reached OMR 1.05 million ($2.71 million) in Q2-16, versus OMR 514,900 ($1.40 million) in Q2-15, according to a bourse filing released on Wednesday.
In the first half of 2016, net profit came to OMR 1.857 million, compared to OMR 73,140 in the same period of 2015.
Total revenues increased in H1-16 to OMR 4.137 million from OMR 3.288 million in H1-15.
The company earlier reported a net profit of OMR 811,650 for Q1-16, against net losses of OMR 468,750 in Q1-15.
