Doha – Mubasher: Doha Insurance Company reported on Tuesday net losses of QAR 1.1 million ($301,770) for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016, against a net profit of QAR 19.4 million ($5.32 million) for the same period of 2015.
In the first half of fiscal 2016, net profit declined by 53% to QAR 20.9 million, versus QAR 44.4 million in the same period of 2015.
Earnings per share amounted to QAR 0.42 for H1-16, compared to QAR 0.89 for H1-15, according to a bourse filing.
The company earlier posted a net profit of QAR 22 million for Q1-16, 12% down from QAR 25 million for Q1-15.
The stock opened today’s session falling 1.2% to QAR 21.
