Mubasher: Oman Fiber Optic posted on Tuesday a net profit of OMR 522,000 ($1.35 million) for the third quarter of fiscal 2016, 923.5% up from OMR 51,000 ($132,000) for Q3-16.

Net profit rose in the first nine months of 2016 by 251.13% to OMR 2.01 million, compared to OMR 573,000 for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.

Total revenues increased 44.31% in the nine-month period to OMR 21.38 million from OMR 14.81 million for the corresponding period last year.

The company earlier reported a net profit of OMR 1.49 million for the first half of 2016, versus OMR 522,000 for H1-15.
