Mubasher: Acwa Power Barka reported a 16% decline in its profits for the third quarter of 2016, according to unaudited financial results.

The company earned OMR 2.75 million ($7.12 million) in Q3-16, compared with OMR 3.27 million ($8.46 million) for Q3-15, a Thursday's bourse filing revealed.

Over the first nine months, net profit rose 6% year-on-year to OMR 7.91 million from OMR 8.37 million.  

Revenues reached OMR 49.64 million in the first nine month of 2016, growing 37% from the year-ago period figure (OMR 36.20 million).
