Mubasher: Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) reported on Wednesday a rise of 18% in its profits for the third quarter of fiscal 2016 to $6.1 million, versus $5.2 million for Q3-15.

Net profit for the first nine months of 2016 increased by 4% to $16.8 million from $16.1 million for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.

Total assets reached $1.62 billion in the nine-month period, compared to $1.34 billion for the same period last year.

The bank earlier posted a net profit of BHD 123 million for the first half of 2016, 1.6% down from BHD 125 million for H1-15.
