Doha – Mubasher: Qatar’s court of first instance has rejected a lawsuit filed by Abdullah bin Nasser Al Misnad against Ezdan Holding Group and Medicare Group.   

The lawsuit was filed to challenge the validity of Ezdan’s ownership of a 24.69% stake in Medicare Group through its subsidiaries, according to a bourse filing released on Sunday.

Al Misnad requested Ezdan and Medicare Group to pay him a compensation of QAR 100 million.

By 09:40am Doha time, Ezdan’s stock rose by 1.8% to QAR 10.99, while Medicare’s stock declined 0.46% to QAR 65.50.
