Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Insurance Company said Wednesday that its board of directors has approved the budget figures for the year 2017.

During its meeting on Tuesday, the board reviewed the company’s performance and its subsidiaries during the period from January to November 2016.

The company said that the board will held another meeting after closing 2016 accounts to review and approve the final Financial Statements for the year 2016, according to a bourse statement.

On the other note, the board agreed to increase the number of board members to 11, with effect from the next session (2017-2019), and submit this to the extraordinary general meeting (EGM)  for approval.
