Cairo – Mubasher: Middle Egypt Flour Mills on Wednesday reported a profit surge of 850.5% during the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016-2017, the standalone financial statements showed.
Profits reached EGP 26.9 million in the quarter ended 31 December 2016, compared with EGP 2.83 million in the same period of the previous year, according to a bourse filling.
The company’s unaudited revenues during the first half, ended December 2016, rose 7.5% year-on-year to EGP 1.62 billion from EGP 1.5 billion, while profits jumped 205.35% to EGP 51.34 million from EGP 16.81 million.
