Doha – Mubasher: Ahli Bank said its ordinary and extraordinary general meetings approved 15% dividends, consisting of 10% cash dividends and 5% bonus shares for fiscal year 2016, according to a bourse statement.

The shareholders gave the go-ahead to increase the bank’s capital by 9.4 million bonus shares, bringing the total to 200.343 million shares.

The meetings have approved the budget and profits and losses statements for the financial year which ended on 31 December 2016.

The shareholders also nodded to renewing the authority given to the board to appoint a ninth new board member, and to elect six board members.
