Doha – Mubasher: Ahli Bank on Monday reported an increase of 3.1% in its profits for the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same period in 2016.
The profits of the bank stood at about QAR 170.02 million ($46.68 million) in Q1-17, compared to nearly QAR 164.98 million ($45.29 million) in Q1-16, according to the bank’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 0.85 in Q1-17, compared to QAR 0.82 per share in the same period of the year before.
The bank previously reported a 2.5% drop in its annual net profits to QAR 631.75 million in the fiscal year 2016 from QAR 647.72 million in 2015.
