Kuwait – Mubasher: Gulf Franchising Holding (GFC) posted a 2,769.1% year-on-year rise during the first quarter of 2017, according to a bourse filing.
Profits reached KWD 513,860 ($1.69 million) in Q1-17, compared to KWD 17,910 (58,710) in Q1-16.
The rise in profits is mainly attributed to higher net investment income, in addition to gains generated from settled wakala payables.
