Dubai – Mubasher: Dar Al Takaful continued to increase its investments in international securities and bonds by 31.1% in the first quarter of 2017, according to data compiled by Mubasher.

Total investments in international securities and bonds reached AED 36.47 million ($9.93 million) in Q1-17, compared to AED 27.82 million ($7.57 million) in Q1-16, the company’s financial statements showed.

The company’s real estate investments stabilised at AED 51.77 million in Q1-17, accounting for 33.5% of the shareholders’ assets worth AED 154.35 million.

Dar Al Takaful turned profitable after generating AED 2.3 million in Q1-17, against losses of AED 3.97 million in Q1-16.

Total revenues rose 99% to AED 24.56 million in Q1-17 from AED 12.31 million in Q1-16.
