Cairo - Mubasher: Union National Bank - Egypt (UNBE) reported a rise in profits by 73.2% year-on-year during the first half of 2017, as shown by the bank’s preliminary financial indicators.
The bank said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in a statement on Monday that profits totalled EGP 156.1 million in the first six months of the year compared to EGP 90.1 million for the period in 2016.
Revenues grew to EGP 1.19 billion from EGP 710.29 million in H1-16, the statement noted.
