With reference to our previous correspondences with regards to the continuity of operating PSQ for the year 2017resting with our last letter ref number PSC/CEO/3790/A/2017 dated 18.1.2017.

Kindly be advised that today we received a copy of H.E The Minister of Transport and Communication’s letter addressed to HE The Chairman of Port Services Corporation SAOG ref number MOTC/OM/12394/1288/2017 dated 26^th of September 2017, advising us about the Ministry’s decision not to renew the concession agreement with the Corporation, for the Management and Operation of Port Sultan Qaboos for another year after it’s expiry on 31^st December 2017.

Accordingly, Sunday 31^st December 2017 will be the last date of managing Port Sultan Qaboos by the Corporation and thereafter the liquidators M/s Moore Stephens will start their assignment to dissolve and liquidate the Corporation w.e.f January 2018 as entrusted to them by the Corporations Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 17.01.2017.
