Mubasher: Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (Al Meera) announced the inauguration of its fresh branch in Al Khor.

Al Khor’s building is deemed Al Meera’s 48th store in Qatar, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Spanned an area of 3,550 square meters, the new shopping centre will provide Al Khor’s residents with all their requirements under one roof, the Qatar-based company said, giving no further details on the value of the project.

“It’s great that more people than ever before have access to our high quality, fresh and locally sourced products at incredible value, and that as a result, we’re able to create more jobs for local communities in the country,” Al Meera’s deputy CEO Salah Al-Hammadi said.

The purchaser and seller of consumer goods plans to introduce a number of new shopping centres to consumers across either underserved regions, or others witnessing a population boom, the statement added.
