Mubasher: Qatar-based Al Meera Consumer Goods has announced the inauguration of its 50th shopping centre branch under the name Leabaib 1.

Opening the new project is part of the company’s efforts to provide consumers with the best products at affordable prices, and to come in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Wednesday.

“We are particularly proud of reaching this amazing milestone of 50 stores, and it is one that has been achieved through the support of the leadership of the State of Qatar,” the firm deputy CEO Salah Al-Hammadi said.

On Sunday, 29 April, Al Meera last reported a 7% year-on-year growth in its profits to QAR 43.3 million during the first quarter of 2018, compared to QAR 40.51 million in the same three months in 2017.
