Kuwait – Mubasher: National International Holding (NIH) reported a 1.93% year-on-year increase in net profit during the second quarter of 2018, recording KWD 844,548 ($2.8 million).
Operating profit also surged 3.93% to KWD 914,415 in Q2-18 versus KWD 879,855 a year earlier.
Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) amounted to KWD 4.22 in the three-month period ended 30 June, according to a bourse statement.
The Kuwait- and Dubai-listed company’s net profit grew to KWD 1.326 million in the first six months of 2018, up 10.43% from the year-ago period.
This growth stemmed from NIH’s share of result from associate companies, which reached KWD 191,285, the financial investment firm said.
