Mubasher: Bahrain Kuwait Insurance on Sunday reported a slight decline in profits of 1.6% in the third quarter of 2018.

The Bahrain-based insurance firm's profits amounted to BHD 1.16 million ($3.08 million) in Q3-18, down from BHD 1.18 million ($3.13 million) in the corresponding period of 2017, the company said in filings to the Bahrain Bourse and Boursa Kuwait, where it is listed.

For the first nine months of the year, Bahrain Kuwait Insurance's profits grew to BHD 2.9 million from BHD 2.37 million in prior year period.

The insurance firm previously posted BHD 1.7 million in profits in H1-18, a rise from BHD 1.7 million in the same period of 2017.
