Mubasher: The Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) in Kuwait has announced the suspension of all operations related to Boeing 737 Max-8 aircraft, following the crash of two planes of the same model in five months, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
“All Boeing 737 Max-8 flights, including the transit, were suspended until further notice,” KUNA said, according to DGCA.
Until the current moment, 33 countries and approximately 30 airlines have grounded the Boeing 737 Max-8 planes within two days, a news report said.
On Sunday, an Ethiopian Airlines plane of Boeing 737 Max-8 model crashed on Sunday, killing 157 people on board.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Kuwaiti airline Alafco stated that its current fleet does not include the Boeing 737 Max aircraft.
