Mubasher: Ahli United Bank – Kuwait (AUB Kuwait) on Tuesday announced that its general assembly had approved the board’s recommendation to distribute cash dividends and bonus shares for the full fiscal year 2018 during a meeting held the previous day.

Shareholders approved to distribute 15 fils per share, representing 15% of the share’s par value, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait.

The general assembly also agreed to distribute bonus shares at 5% of paid-up and issued capital or 5-for-100 shares for FY18 by issuing 98.23 million shares.

The lender further noted that dividends will be eligible for shareholders registered in the bank’s registries by the end of maturity date on 14 April, while distributions will take place on 21 April.

AUB Kuwait last reported a rise of 15.3% in profits, reaching KWD 51.26 million in the fiscal year 2018, compared to KWD 44.46 million during the year ago.
