Mubasher: Hilal Cement Company’s shareholders approved the board’s proposal for distributing KWD 1.52 million at 15 fils per share as cash dividends for the fiscal year 2018 during a general assembly meeting held on Wednesday.

Distributions, which represent 15% of the firm’s capital, will be eligible for shareholders registered in the company’s registries on the eligibility date, 22 May, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait on Thursday.

Dividends will be paid as of 30 May.

The general assembly also elected new board members for the coming three years.

Hilal Cement Company last reported a 92.6% year-on-year decline in losses during fiscal year 2018 to KWD 68,750 from KWD 924,750 a year ago.
