Mubasher: Meysan Partners has acted as a legal advisor to Kuwait Telecommunication Co (Viva) in the KWD 28.3 million ($93.3 million) acquisition of Qualitynet, according to Al-Jarida.

Viva bought 90% of Qualitynet’s shares from Batelco Group and 10% from the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the Kuwaiti newspaper added.

Kuwait Telecommunication reported a decline of 16.8% in net profits during the first quarter of 2019 compared to the same period a year ago, registering KWD 9.63 million ($31.7 million).
