Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net losses of Remco for Tourism Villages Construction shrank by 22.36% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 265.78 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, compared to EGP 342.33 million, including minority shareholders' rights.
The hotel business achieved a profit of EGP 47.74 million in the January-June period, up from EGP 9.92 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the real estate business reported a revenue of EGP 397.89 million.
Previously, Remco for Tourism Villages Construction reported its standalone net losses at EGP 324.61 million in H1-21, compared to EGP 121.9 million in H1-20.
During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Remco for Tourism Villages Construction reported consolidated net losses of EGP 463.61 million, up from EGP 132.17 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.
