Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) said that the total number of subscribed shares reached 293.59 million, registering a coverage rate of 73.39%, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday. 

The first phase of the company's rights issue during the period between 30 June to 5 August was 59.86% covered, while the second phase which extended from 5 September to 13 September was 13.51% covered. 

The board of directors decided not to offer the remaining shares in a rights issue. 

In fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, Kima reported net losses of EGP 1.33 billion, slightly down from EGP 1.35 billion a year earlier.
