Riyadh – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) has reported a 97.56% hike in its net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 81 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022 from SAR 41 million in the year-ago period, according to the company's interim financials.

The company generated revenues of SAR 2.17 billion in Q1-22, up 12.43% from SAR 1.93 billion in Q1-21.

The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 0.09 in the first three months (3M) of 2022, versus SAR 0.04 in the same period of the earlier year.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, Zain KSA's net profits after Zakat and tax declined by 17.69% to SAR 214 million, against SAR 260 million in 2020.
