Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Al Seer Marine, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC), has entered into a collaboration agreement with Singapore-based Netbulk Pte, a one-stop maritime solution firm, to scale up its freight services globally. 

The partnership will offer freight services to 5 million tonnes of dry bulk shipments within one year, with estimated turnover of $100 million, according to a press release.

In line with Al Seer Marine’s expansion strategy, the two partners will serve the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific through 10 commercially managed ships.

Guy Neivens, CEO of Al Seer Marine, said: “By amplifying our network in Singapore in collaboration with Netbulk, Al Seer Marine continues to execute on our long-term cargo strategy through key regional initiatives, while also securing control of commercial ships as we overcome supply chain challenges.”

During the first half (H1) of 2022, Al Seer Marine logged net profits of AED 882.97 million, higher by 115% than AED 411.33 million in H1-21.

Last July, the UAE-based firm unveiled growth plans to expand its freight services for bulk cargoes worldwide through its unit ASM Chartering.
