Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Taxi Company’s (DTC) partner Bolt added more than 6,000 DTC taxis, supporting the company’s commitment to enhancing ease and convenience for customers.

The expansion came amid a rapid increase in demand for taxis, as residents and visitors to Dubai will now be able to book taxis directly through the Bolt app, according to a press release.

The app has a set of features, including a proprietary mapping system that ensures accurate routes, emergency buttons and live tracking, and a driver score system that promotes high service quality.

By leveraging Bolt’s world-class platform, DTC aims to unlock a greater share of the market opportunity within Dubai’s evolving taxi and e-hailing sector.

This initiative is part of DTC’s new strategy for 2025–2029, which aims to foster its position as the largest taxi operator in the Emirates and a regional leader in the transportation sector.
