Riyadh – Mubasher: Almarai Company penned a share purchase agreement to fully acquire Pure Beverages Industry Company in exchange for SAR 1.04 billion, according to a bourse filing.

The transaction supports the Saudi multinational dairy company’s growth strategy to expand its beverage portfolio and improve its consumer offerings.

Subject to contractual conditions and obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals in the Kingdom, the acquisition will be financed through Almarai's internal cash flows.

Pure Beverages is a leading producer of high-quality bottled drinking water in Saudi Arabia and the owner of the Ival and Oska brands.

It operates facilities that deploy advanced production technologies in accordance with the highest international quality standards and sustainable industry practices.

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, Almarai logged net profits after tax valued at SAR 731.19 million, up 5.62% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 692.22 million.
