Riyadh – Mubasher: ACWA Power Company recorded net profits valued at SAR 908.97 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, down 1.92% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 926.79 million.
Revenues amounted to SAR 3.71 billion as of 30 June 2025, higher by 31.99% YoY than SAR 2.81 billion, according to the financial results.
The earnings per share (EPS) declined to SAR 1.23 in H1-25 from SAR 1.26 a year earlier.
Results for Q2-25
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the Saudi group posted 23.59% YoY lower net profits at SAR 481.82 million, compared to SAR 630.62 million.
The revenues reached SAR 1.74 billion in Q2-25, an annual rise of 11.83% from SAR 1.56 billion.
Quarterly, the Q2-25 profits increased by 12.79% from SAR 427.15 million in Q1-25, while the revenues fell by 11.17% from SAR 1.96 billion.
Marco Arcelli, CEO of ACWA Power, stated: “We have doubled the size of the company over the past three years — and we remain firmly on course to double it again within the next five, reaching our $250 billion target by 2030.”
“Alongside strong financial performance, we also completed a landmark SAR 7,125 million capital raise via a rights issue,” Arcelli mentioned.
He added: “We signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) for the development of seven major renewable energy projects across the Kingdom—five large-scale solar PV plants and two large-scale wind farms with a total of 15GW.”
