Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) shifted to net profits worth SAR 20.44 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, against net losses of SAR 7.01 million in H1-24.
The revenues increased by 16.18% to SAR 844.43 million in H1-25 from SAR 726.80 million in H1-24, according to the interim financial statements.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.09 in the first six months (6M) of 2025, versus a loss per share of SAR 0.07 in the same period of 2024.
Results for Q2
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the net profits of SAPTCO declined by 2.65% to SAR 40.51 million from SAR 41.61 million in Q2-24.
The revenues amounted to SAR 503.09 million in April-June 2025, reflecting a 20.27% year-on-year (YoY) hike from SAR 418.28 million.
On a quarterly basis, the Tadawul-listed company swung to profitability in Q2-25 against net losses of SAR 20.07 million in Q1-25, while the revenues jumped by 47.39% from SAR 341.33 million.
