Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) with a combined value of EGP 55 billion through two issues on Sunday, 3 August.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 20 billion, carrying a maturity period of 91 days until 4 November 2025, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of 273 days until 5 May 2026, the second offering stood at EGP 35 billion.
On 31 July, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 90 billion through two tranches.
