Telecom Egypt’s consolidated profits jump to EGP 10.5bn in H1-25

Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits after tax of Telecom Egypt hit EGP 10.52 billion in the first half (H1) of 2025, up year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 6.51 billion.

The revenues grew to EGP 50.59 billion in H1-25 from EGP 37.95 billion in H1-24, according to the financial results.

Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) climbed to EGP 6.16 as of 30 June 2025 from EGP 3.81 in H1-24.

Standalone Business

In the first six months (6M) of 2025, Telecom Egypt logged standalone net profits after tax valued at EGP 5.72 billion, marking an annual leap from EGP 4.41 billion.

Non-consolidated operating revenues increased to EGP 35.74 billion in H1-25 from EGP 27.72 billion in the year-ago period, while the basic and diluted EPS soared to EGP 3.36 from EGP 2.59.

Quarterly Results

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the company recorded consolidated net profits totaling EGP 5.86 billion, higher YoY than EGP 2.63 billion. Basic and diluted EPS increased to EGP 3.43 from EGP 1.54.

The telecom group registered operating revenues valued at EGP 25.79 billion, compared to EGP 20.46 billion.

Standalone net profits after tax hiked to EGP 3.05 billion in Q2-25 from EGP 30.98 million a year earlier, while the operating revenues enlarged to EGP 18.63 billion from EGP 15.13 billion.

As of 31 March 2025, the EGX-listed firm posted an annual jump in consolidated net profit after tax to EGP 4.65 billion, compared to EGP 3.88 billion.
