Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: TAQA Distribution, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and Aldar Properties have entered into a strategic partnership to bolster the development of sustainable and integrated communities in Abu Dhabi.
Under the agreement, the two companies will assess areas of cooperation across Aldar’s infrastructure portfolio, enhancing utility delivery and long-term operational efficiency for the benefit of Abu Dhabi, according to a press release.
On its part, TAQA Distribution will support the projects with its expertise in planning, implementing, and operating utility networks across various phases of infrastructure development. This includes providing interim and permanent electricity and water supply solutions.
The company will also valuate infrastructure designs, back the implementation of private utility networks, and explore opportunities to integrate innovative, sustainable, and energy-efficient technologies.
Moreover, the partnership aims to boost cost-efficiency and improve the overall management of utility services through the deployment of advanced digital tools and analytics.

TAQA Distribution and Aldar will also open the door to the adoption of digital innovations in utility services, including condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven performance management.
In the first half (H1) of 2025, Aldar recorded 24% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profits at AED 4.10 billion, while the development sales reached AED 18.30 billion.
