Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 100 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 12 October.
The first tranche stood at EGP 40 billion and will mature in 182 days on 14 April 2026, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of 364 days until 13 October 2026, the second issue amounted to EGP 60 billion.
The CBE also auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 23 billion through two issues. The first offering hit EGP 20 billion, while the second one reached EGP 3 billion.
