UAE - Mubasher: Arada has awarded an AED 397 million contract to Modern Building Contracting Company to build the Rove Aljada hotel and Rove Home Aljada branded residences within its AED 35 billion megaproject in Sharjah.

The four-block cluster, located next to Arada CBD and Madar Mall, is scheduled for completion by December 2027, according to a press release.

The Rove Aljada hotel will include 192 rooms, a rooftop pool, co-working spaces, a gym, and an all-day dining restaurant.

It will offer 306 serviced apartments with access to leisure and retail amenities. The award marks another milestone in the megaproject’s rapid development.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, said: “With the introduction of Rove’s fresh and dynamic hospitality concept, we are responding to rising demand from both business and leisure travelers seeking smart, connected and design-led experiences in Sharjah.”

Construction is underway at Arada CBD, and a AED 2.20 billion contract was recently awarded to UNEC to build Madar Mall, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.

Rove Aljada, owned by Arada and operated by Rove Hotels, will join other hospitality offerings, including Nest Hotel, Vida Aljada, and The Address Aljada.

Aljada is already home to 20,000 residents and features over 25,000 homes with strong connectivity to key transport hubs.

In September, Dubai-based master developer Arada entered the UK market through the acquisition of a 75% stake in Regal.
