Riyadh - Mubasher: SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company has signed a strategic partnership deal with TAM Group to enhance air cargo operations between Saudi Arabia and China.

The deal marks SAL’s first international expansion and entry into the Chinese market, according to a press release.

Signed during the Transport Logistic Southeast Asia Exhibition in Singapore, the partnership will boost the Saudi-China air corridor, support e-commerce growth, and improve freight efficiency.

Omar Hariri, CEO of SA, stated: “This collaboration will enable Chinese companies to expand into Saudi Arabia and leverage the Kingdom’s strategic geographic location as a global distribution hub powered by SAL’s integrated logistics solutions.“

For his part, Alvin Tam, Senior Vice President, Commercial of TAM Group, added: “This agreement will allow us to combine our international expertise with SAL’s advanced operational capabilities to develop air cargo networks and expand connectivity between Saudi Arabia and global markets.”

The agreement reinforces SAL’s global expansion and supports the Kingdom’s drive to advance its air cargo and logistics sectors. It also strengthens supply chain integration and reinforces Saudi role as a global logistics hub.

Last month, SAL renewed its partnership with Emirates SkyCargo to handle ground, air cargo, and logistics operations for its flights in Saudi Arabia.
