Mubasher: Orascom Construction reported 2.10% year-on-year (YoY) higher consolidated backlog at $6.60 billion as of 30 September 2025, according to the financial results.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2025, the new awards hit $3.70 billion and pro forma new awards, including a 50% share in BESIX of $4.90 billion.
Revenues hiked by 47.80% to $3.42 billion in 9M-25 from $2.31 billion in 9M-24, while the company’s net profits attributable to the shareholders jumped by 53.20% to $133.30 million from $87 million.
Financials for Q3-25
In the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, the net profits attributable to the owners of Orascom Construction amounted to $50.60 million, higher by 134.30% than $21.60 million in Q3-24.
The dual-listed group generated revenues valued at $1.47 billion in July-September 2025, an annual leap of 74.80% from $842.50 million.
During the first half (H1) of 2025, the net income attributable to the shareholders hit $82.70 million.
In September, Orascom Construction’s shares commenced trading on ADX under the ticker “ORAS”.
