Cairo – Mubasher: Technical movements signaled by Mubasher Trade Research indicate that the stock of Qalaa for Financial Investments (Qalaa Holdings) has witnessed a notable movement during the first session of December 2025, as it succeeded in breaking through a pivotal resistance level that had been limiting the stock from rising for a long period of nearly two years.

According to Mubasher Trade Research, the weekly chart shows that the EGP 3.60 and EGP 3.65 zone was a historical barrier that caused several previous reversals. However, strong buying at the beginning of December pushed the stock to rise above that zone with a strong close above the resistance, accompanied by a significant increase in trading volumes.

This breakthrough carries important technical implications, as it reflects the stock's transition from a medium-range sideways movement to a new upward wave, especially with prices stabilizing above the moving averages and breaking out of the Bollinger Bands to the upside.

Furthermore, maintaining the closing above this level confirms its transformation into a major support on which the stock can build an upward trajectory, potentially reaching EGP 4.70, in the coming weeks.

Summary of Price Movements

The weekly timeframe chart shows that Qalaa Holdings stock was within a wide fluctuation phase between EGP 3.00 and EGP 3.60 throughout 2025, before the features of forming a gradual price base became clear with higher lows and price rebounds from support zones. This behavior reflects institutional accumulation that may indicate a medium-term upward trend.

The stock has also shown the ability to overcome selling pressures and maintain an upward structure with higher lows throughout 2025, indicating a clear resilience in performance.

With the arrival of 2026, the stock's success in surpassing the historical peak of EGP 3.65 gives it an open space to target higher price levels, especially if the stock maintains the same performance seen in late 2025 and early December.
