Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 65 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 14 December.
The first auction was valued at EGP 25 billion and will mature in 91 days on 17 March 2026, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 15 September next year, the second offering stood at EGP 40 billion.
