Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Qemam for Computer Systems Company has officially signed a major service contract with the Emirate of Hail Region for the maintenance and operation of information technology systems.

The agreement, which is valued at SAR 19.89 million including value-added tax (VAT), represents a significant addition to the company’s portfolio of government-sector projects and is expected to influence the firm’s financial trajectory over the next three years.

The formal execution of the contract took place on 17 June 2026. This signing follows the initial award of the project, which was previously announced on 4 May.

By finalizing this agreement, Alqemam for Computer Systems Co. solidifies its partnership with the regional administration of Hail, focusing specifically on the technical upkeep and operational management of the Emirate’s digital infrastructure.

Under the terms of the disclosure, the scope of work is centered on the maintenance and operation of information technology services within the Emirate.

This encompasses a broad range of technical support and systemic oversight required to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the region's administrative IT frameworks.

The execution period for the contract is set at 36 calendar months. This three-year timeline provides a stable revenue stream for Alqemam, allowing for long-term resource planning and operational stability. The company has indicated that the implementation of the contract will begin to manifest in its financial statements during 2026.

Management expects the contract to have a positive impact on the company’s overall financial position, reflecting the steady realization of revenue as project milestones are met over the 36-month term.

In terms of corporate governance and transparency, Alqemam confirmed that the contract was entered into through standard procurement channels.

The company explicitly stated that there are no related parties involved in this transaction, ensuring that the deal was conducted on an arm’s length basis and in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the Saudi stock market.

The announcement marks a continuation of the company’s strategy to provide specialized technical services to high-level government entities. By securing a multi-year contract with a regional emirate, Alqemam demonstrates its capacity to manage large-scale IT operations that are critical to public administration.

The positive financial outlook associated with this contract underscores the company’s growth potential within the Saudi Arabian technology sector, particularly as regional government bodies continue to invest in the modernization and maintenance of their digital systems. This contract is expected to be a key driver of the company’s performance throughout the late 2020s.
